Waiting for ...

I have lots of time to think these days. This post is one insight I have reached.

A water picture

I like making landscape images. Sometimes I get one that I really like. This one seems to draw me in whenever I look at it for a while.

Enjoy.

Conversation

I find dialogue one of the hardest things to write with any accuracy, so I listen in to peoples conversations on the bus, in the street, in shops - basically everywhere. And I do these exercises where I imagine a conversation between two characters. Don’t know if it helps with writing dialogue, but it sure gets me thinking.

Reflections

The idea for this small story came to me as I looked in the mirror during my morning shave. It is quite dark in tone, and I make no apologies for that. We live in dark times - just watch the mainstream news and I guarantee you will be a little (or a lot) depressed after it.

A short story

This is a short story writing exercise that I penned when I was feeling bored. It amused me, your mileage may vary.
Comment if you like.

Enjoy.
